Live Edge White Oak Coffee Table with Black Epoxy River

Two halves of a single tree, joined by a river

$785.00

A statement coffee table built from a pair of bookmatched live edge white oak slabs, joined down the center by a hand-poured epoxy river in deep charcoal with silver-grey marbling. The bookmatch preserves the mirrored grain pattern of the original tree, so the two halves read as one continuous piece interrupted only by the resin.

The slabs were flattened, stabilized, and finished to bring out the figured grain and natural character — knots, mineral streaks, and the natural live edge are all preserved rather than sanded away. The epoxy was poured in layers with pigments worked by hand for the marbled depth; no two pours come out the same.

Seated on a cast iron Made-in-USA arched base, the table reads modern and industrial without losing the warmth of the wood. Custom commissions available in coffee table, console, or dining table dimensions, with your choice of slab species and resin color. Custom orders upon request.
